Before you clear out your bookshelves, consider donating / selling your Welsh books to us. Your pre-loved reads help us:

Archive rare and lost editions many of these books were printed in very small batches so there are not many remaining! By adding these to our website we are documenting editions online which may otherwise be lost to time.
Keep Paper Out of Landfills: Books take a surprisingly long time to decompose. Donating extends a book's lifespan and reduces environmental waste.
Ensure that everyone has access to the joy of reading our books are fairly priced, especially children's - encouraging more families to read and enjoy the Welsh language

How to donate

Check the condition Please ensure they are free of water damage, mold, or missing pages. If you wouldn't gift it to a friend it may not be suitable for us.
Email a quick picture send me a quick picture of the spines so I can see what you have, and if this is a donation or what price you'd like
Box them up If we accept your books please pack them securely in a cardboard box with filler so they can't move around
Weigh and measure the package email the details over to me at becca@welshgiftshop.com. I will then create a postage label for you and arrange a collection date (if necessary) so you don't pay a penny. We can use Evri or Royal Mail.
Send them on their way! Affix the prepaid label to the package (we can arrange for QR codes or the driver will bring one if you don't have a printer) and it will be on its way to us!

We'd also be glad to have a look at other items you'd be willing to part with - making sure it continues to be cherished.
