Published in 1930, Cymru a’r Uchel Gomisiwn 1633–1640 (Wales and the High Commission) is a foundational work of Welsh historical scholarship by the acclaimed historian and librarian Thomas Richards (1878–1962).

This study examines a pivotal seven-year window leading up to the English Civil War, focusing on the interventionist religious policies of Archbishop William Laud and their impact on Wales.
