A very rare copy of Short Polish Stories, translated into Welsh by John Elwyn Jones
Includes Gwyliwr y Goleudy (Latarnik) and Ianco'r Cerddor (Janko Muzykant) by Henryk Sienkiewicz, Y Wasgod (Kamizelka) and Y Dychweledig Don (Powracająca fala) by Bolesław Prus.
The translator John Elwyn Jones (1921-2008) learned Polish in a German prisoner-of-war camp during World War II.
Note: "Bolestaw Pruss" was mistaken and misspelled as the author of Gwyliwr y Goleudy in the book.
