John Ceiriog Hughes (1832–1887), known simply as “Ceiriog,” was a Welsh-language poet and folk-music collector. He is often regarded as one of the greatest Welsh lyric poets — sometimes even dubbed the “Robert Burns of Wales.” This book is an anthology/selection of poems and songs by Ceiriog compiled by T. Gwynn Jones.
