A charming Sunday School dinner plate - possibly from the Victorian period!

- 'Broad Street Baptist Sunday School Blaenavon' is printed in dark pink on the upper side of the plate
- No date but likely Victorian - late 19th century
- China plate
- Bottom maker's mark: Supplied direct from The Crown Pottery Stoke-on-Trent by the Ceramic art co. ltd.
- Gold coloured rim
- Measures: 24cm diameter
Condition: Very good
Good overall condition; with no cracks or crazing. Two flea bite sized chips to outter rim and slight sign of wear to the gold painted edge and logo (see photos). This does not distract from the attractiveness of the plate and adds to its charm. A miracle it survied hundreds of children using it for their tea, and the clatter of washing up in what was probably a belfast sink! Please view all the pictures carefully.
