A new collection of a 100 Welsh language nature poems in a volume entitled Hoff Gerddi Natur Cymru (Favourite Welsh Nature Poems) has just been published, celebrating the wonderful world of nature, by poets from all corners of Wales.

Poems by many of the leading Welsh language poets from all parts of Wales were chosen such as Waldo, Dic Jones, R. Williams Parry, Gwyneth Glyn, T. Llew Jones, Menna Elfyn, Ceri Wyn Jones, Twm Morys and Myrddin ap Dafydd. Included as well are poems by lesser-known poets whose individual poems have created an impression.

Most of the poems in this volume were written in the 20th century though the oldest dates back over a thousand years and the latest was written within the last year. Included as well are traditional poems such as Ar lan y môr mae rhosys cochion and O Lili Wen Fach.
