A sweet little double handled cup featuring a Heraldic Crest of Wales with 'Cymru am Byth' underneath

These were popular souvenirs in the late 19th and early 20th centuries; in the early 20th century, approximately 95 percent of British households had at least one piece of Goss china on display in their home! World War I caused financial difficulties for Goss and the company never recovered, making each piece highly collectable today

  • Miniature cup with 2 handles and gold coloured rim
  • Back stamped 'Model of Cromwellian Mortar found at Hythe' 390790 W. H. Goss with the bird logo.
  • Made from ceramic
  • Approximate measurements: 4cm tall, 6 cm wide

Condition: very good

No chips or cracks, gold paint has faded in places
