A sweet little cup featuring a Welsh Lady and Trearddur painted on the reverse

  • This would have been a souvenir from the seaside village of Trearddur in North Wales
  • No maker's mark but similar to Robert Lewis pottery
  • Hand painted in jolly colours - The buttery yellow glaze, paired with the thick hand-painted greens and reds, is very typical of interwar to post-war British tourist pottery.
  • Mid-20th century, almost certainly 1930s to early 1950s.
  • Made from ceramic
  • Approximate measurements: 5.5 cm tall, 7 cm widest point including handle

Condition: very good

Some age related marks but no chips or cracks, base a little scuffed
