A sweet little jug in a beautiful duckegg blue-grey and brown drip glaze
Ewenni Pottery is a historic Welsh pottery studio located near Bridgend, the sole survivor of a tradition dating back to the 19th century. They are known for simple forms and stand-out glazes, often producing unique, asymmetrical pieces with a handmade charm.
- Features a mottled, blue grey glaze that runs down into a dark brown base glaze.
- Bottom signed 'Ewenni Pottery' (note the Welsh speling)
- Made from local red earthenware clay and glazes, thriving on local resources.
- Approximate measurements: 7cm widest, 8.5cm tall
