A Victorian Welsh language bible bound in a jolly butter yellow cloth with red page edges

  • Eyre & Spottiswoode - the 'Ltd' suffix is not present which suggest this is pre 1900 as they became a limited company in 1900. The Royal warrant also points to Queen Victoria and the latter half of the 19th century
  • Welsh language
  • Rebound in durable and jolly butter yellow cloth with red page edges. Hand written title on front and spine, which suggests this was probably done by an individual or a very small local bindery in the mid century.

Condition: good: good considering over 100 years old. Cover has age related marks. Light fading to spine.
