These vintage brass medallions are traditional British horse brasses, popular collectables and souvenirs from the mid-to-late 20th century. Originally created in the 19th century as harness decorations and good luck charms for working heavy horses, they later became widespread travel souvenirs featuring Welsh icons like the Welsh Dragon, Prince of Wales Feathers, and traditional country scenes. Most were bought to hang on fireplace beams, leather straps, or pub walls. Today, they are popular as rustic wall decor and pieces of folk history.

The Talyllyn Railway is a historic narrow-gauge steam railway running for 7.25 miles through the Fathew Valley in Mid Wales. Stretching from the coastal town of Tywyn to Nant Gwernol near Abergynolwyn, it holds a landmark place in transport history.
