A beautiful vintage skirt made from classic Welsh Tapestry woven wool. The vibrant blue, green and purple are quintessentially 1960s and perfect for adding a splash of colour to your winter styling.
Welsh tapestry weaving was revived in the 1950s–60s and garments in this style were part of that movement.
This piece has a flattering silhouette with a side zip. The fabric is a proper woven wool with a lovely weight to it — warm, textured and full of character.
These original Welsh tapestry skirts are increasingly hard to find — especially in such lovely condition. A perfect statement piece for fans of slow fashion, sustainable textiles, or anyone who values a little bit of Welsh history in their wardrobe.

- Woven wool fabric in a classic Welsh geometric pattern in blue, purple and green
- Made from 100% Welsh wool woven in Wales
- Label reads: Real Welsh Tapestry / Tapestri Gwirioneddol Gymreig
- Dry clean only / Sych Lanhau yn unig
- Lined but looks like it was shortened at one point - free cut (not hemmed)
- Label says size 38, but this is vintage sizing and very small. I'd put this as a size xs / 8 - 25 / 26" waist. Please see measurements in pictures.
Condition: very good - in excellent condition! Nothing of note to mention.
